ESSO 40 CAPSULES(ESOMEPRAZOLE)

Description

• The short-term (4 to 8 week) treatment of erosive esophagitis, which has been diagnosed, is suggested for use with ESSO (ESOMEPRAZOLE). An second 4-8-week term of ESSO (ESOMEPRAZOLE) may be explored for patients who have not recovered after receiving treatment for 4–8 weeks.
• To sustain symptomatic remission and healing of erosive esophagitis, ESSO (ESOMEPRAZOLE) is recommended. Studies under control are limited to six months.
• Heartburn and other GERD symptoms are indicated for therapy with ESSO (ESOMEPRAZOLE).
• For the treatment of patients with H. pylori infection and duodenal ulcer disease (active or history of within the previous 5 years), ESSO (ESOMEPRAZOLE) in combination with amoxicillin and clarithromycin is recommended. It has been demonstrated that getting rid of H. pylori lowers the chance of duodenal ulcer recurrence.
